Now here's a challenging one. It's the last posting of the term. Many people graduate after that. We know the material from AAA on back. There are many toold to use that can be inresponse to or in preparation of current events and management of enterprise. Write your unrdertanding of your international perperspsective down in verse. Any kind. Poetry, sonnet, haiku, the sound of one hand clapping. The material is all out there and can converse n image that no other way can do. See if you can do this, for it you can internalize the material as a picture, you can describe that picture in a way others can also understand if they think. Here's one on preparation:
Rich provocation
Questions fuel preparation
Achieve emergence

Yes, think it though. It helps to create the image in your mind of the material. Instead of just understanding it and using it... what about envisioning it as a whole. A chef understands his/her recipe before it's made. A surgeon can envision the whole body cavity before beginning. What about managers? That's calling for a degree of level we won't get to, and probably no class will. You'll only get there after your practice starts.....
ReplyDeleteWorld of differences,
ReplyDeletesatisfaction and disappointments,
successes and failures,
trials and errors,
rising and falling,
black and white,
sweet and salty.
Differences are required,
Giving more than what’s required,
going beyond those things which are understood and those which are not.
Those that experience, understand.
Knowledge and understanding satisfy our desires.
Complete endurance.
I don't know if it makes any sense to you guys, but I thought I would give it a try.
x'clent.... my plan is working!!!!
DeleteI'm all poem-ed out
ReplyDeleteempty of rhyme, is my heart.
Some things I read
stink like a....
orange.
There aren't many that can rhyme with orange - Max you've defied all odds.
DeleteCompany's growth in the dumps,
ReplyDeleteBut still looking to grow,
Take your CAs across the ocean,
To get your mounds of gold.
Oh this is awful and defies all the rules of poetry or verse, but worth an A for effort!
I like this one, I believe in business now you have to go across the ocean to get the mound of gold. It is no longer in the US right now and it is a sad thought you have to leave to get the money.
DeleteYou bring up a good point that there is a lot of opportunity in other countries as long as a company researches and realizes how it can benefit (or not) from entering certain markets.
DeleteNeed to penetrate!
ReplyDeleteDoes our advantage translate?
Does culture negate?
Ugh! Apololgies as that was kinda brutal!
Penetrate, translate, nor negate...?
Deletethat was pretty brutal, but a good try at it.
DeleteI find this posting offensive. In a beautiful kind of way.
DeleteExcellent Haiku. You should be proud!
DeleteSTEPS ACROSS
ReplyDeleteStepping across the ocean,
Thinking before you do.
Experimenting along the way,
Proving it once you do.
Sustainment follows after.
Advantage: the momentary blip,
Competition enters in.
Rise above the imitation,
Owning ideas you proved.
Stick with core competency,
Success, success, success.
Can You See
ReplyDeleteSo far to see,
So far to go,
So far all you have is what's in a book,
So far all you have is what's on the web,
So, now it's time to go and see.
Agree go take a look and realize what is out there!
DeleteWhy did the RAT cross the road? To get to a new CAGE!
ReplyDeleteYeowza Jared. Nicely done.
DeleteA RAT walks into a CAGE. The CAGE tender says, what's your home base advantage?
I like it!
DeleteYour world, my world
ReplyDeleteDifferent, but yet the same
Separated only by our limited thinking
Learning, growing, and learning again
The circle of knowledge, nurtured by a global strategy, blossoms into opportunity
It contracts, it expands, it transforms; it shifts
It is paradigm
No longer separated by cultural, administrative, geographical or economic boundaries
The horizon, once distant, now appears within our reach
We have crossed the great commerce expanse
Our worlds become one
How transferrable is your advantage?
ReplyDeleteIs your FSA vocal?
The answer to your questions
Will determine if you're glocal.
Glocal,,, good one.
DeleteAS SUNG BY CHER
ReplyDeleteIf I could turn back time
I would find a way
To understand the cultures I penetrate
So the regulators would let me stay
I would focus on my FSA's
And discover if they were transferable
I would protect my intellectual property
From those pesky Chinese spies.
How 'bout this:
ReplyDeleteAn Adaptation, Aggregation, and Arbitrage in Relevance, Appropriabiity, and Transferance.
`Twas brilliant in the treasure troves
Did ship and wobble in the wave:
All seasick were the seamen oaves,
And the refrigerates crates outgave.
Beware the FSA and CAGE, my son!
The money that lures, the culture you catch!
Beware the Panama wave, and shun
The nearly destructive seawall hatch.
He took his geographical sword in hand:
Long time the administrative foe he sought --
So rested he by the corruption tree
Greasepayment all in fraught.
And, as in aggregated thought he stood,
The suits and guangxi eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the congregate wood,
passing money as it came!
One, two! One, two! All 3 times through and through. Around the table Susan. The duck comes first the head Goes last to honor and superstition. The duck lies dead as does the deal, the there really are no worries. The vorpal blade went snicker-snack! Every business deal goes three times, appropriation beckons.
In arbitrage he left it dead and with its head transference; the appropriation went galumphing back. To all the Board’s cognition.
And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my executive boy!
O frabjulous us day! Callooh! Callay!'
Transfer the money to me.
He chortled in his joy to think, that once again the foe, would come again for the next part of the deal would go. Expropriate the yuan back to its birthplace and bring with it some labor, for here we need to employ those peasants as though we cared forever.
Take a look in to my eyes, and tell me what you see, and let me know what I can do for you as I am the change you want to see.
ReplyDeleteThe deep dive is done, the CAGE deconstructed
ReplyDeleteThe RATS have dispersed; it is time to move on
With excitement they go to discover new places
The world, their oyster, if they dare to explore

ReplyDeleteHere is a haiku. Don't read into it too much:
ReplyDeleteF. S. A.'s are nice
Adaptability too
CEMEX did it right
